'Narayangadh Food Festival' in New Year

Ratnanagar, Chitwan – The 'Narayangadh Food Festival' has been organized in Chitwan for the first time on the occasion of Nepali New Year-2075 BS.
The food festival that kicked off in Campachaur of Narayangadh since this morning would continue up to April 16, informed Festival Coordinator Gyanendra Man Shakya.
English New Year is celebrated with fanfare but the trend of marking Nepali New Year is waning so the food festival is organized, Shakya added.
Bharatpur Metropolis Mayor Renu dahal inaugurated the festival organized by Newa Pucha Narayangadh.
There are total 60 food stalls with varieties of food items. Around Rs 2.5 million is estimated to be spent during the festival. ---
