Kathmandu Metropolitan City Announces Scholarship Exam Results for Grade 11/12 Admissions

The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) Education Department has officially published the results of the scholarship entrance examination for students seeking admission to Grade 11 and 12 under the institutional quota in affiliated schools for the academic year 2082/83. Eligible candidates can now check their results by logging into the official KMC education portal using their provided credentials (username and password).
Exam Participation and Selection Details
A total of 17,229 applications were received from students across all 77 districts of Nepal, out of which 16,137 candidates were deemed eligible to appear for the examination. The test was conducted across 54 examination centers in Kathmandu, with 14,173 students ultimately participating.
Exam Structure and Evaluation Criteria
The scholarship exam was based on the Grade 10 curriculum, featuring 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) divided into four sections:

Candidates needed to score at least 40% to qualify, with no negative marking for incorrect answers.
