Finance Ministry releases NPR 3.84 billion for health programs

Kathmandu, March 4 — The Ministry of Finance has released an additional NPR 3.84 billion for health-related programs, including health insurance payments.
Based on the request from the Ministry of Health and Population, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel made the decision to release the amount.
This includes NPR 3 billion for the Health Insurance Board, NPR 60 million for the treatment of senior citizens, and NPR 24 million for free treatment of heart patients at the Shahid Gangalal National Heart Center.
