Melamchi pipeline burst damages Thapathali road (photos)

Kathmandu, March 4 — A Melamchi Water Supply Project pipeline burst early Tuesday morning on the road from Thapathali Chowk to Norvic Hospital.

The rupture caused a large amount of water to gush out, leading to road damage.

Additionally, the sidewalk has also been damaged, and the road is covered with mud, sand, and gravel.

The exact cause of the pipeline burst is yet to be determined.
