Kathmandu's air pollution worsens amid wildfires and drought (photos)

Kathmandu, February 20 — The air pollution in the Kathmandu Valley has increased due to wildfires in the surrounding areas.

On top of that, it has been quite some time since it last rained in the Kathmandu Valley.

On Thursday afternoon, Kathmandu was ranked among the top 4 most polluted cities in the world, according to IQAir.

According to IQAir, the air quality index (AQI) in Kathmandu is 167.
