PM Oli cancels visit to Palpa and Rupandehi
Kathmandu, January 24 — Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will not be participating in the pre-scheduled programs in Palpa and Rupandehi.
The Prime Minister’s private secretariat announced that the scheduled visits to Palpa and Butwal for the inauguration and foundation-laying ceremonies have been canceled.
Due to health reasons, Prime Minister Oli will not be physically attending the pre-scheduled programs.
According to his doctors' advice, he has canceled his physical participation in the events.
The events will be attended by Deputy Prime Ministers Prakash Man Singh and Bishnu Paudel. However, Prime Minister Oli will participate virtually in the breakthrough event.
The Prime Minister has been unwell since Tuesday evening. His voice has become hoarse due to a problem with his throat, according to the secretariat.
