Dalit Campaign holds sit-in at Election Commission (photos)

Kathmandu, January 22 — The "Dalits for Dalits Campaign Nepal" has accused the government of ignoring the demands of Dalits, which have been raised through street protests for 45 days.

The campaign, which has been asking the state, "Where are the opportunities for Dalits?", organized a rally from Bhrikutimandap to the Election Commission to raise awareness about issues affecting the Dalit community.

The protesters also staged a sit-in at the gates of the Election Commission.
