NEPSE index rises by 12.58 points
Kathmandu, January 19 — On Sunday, the Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index increased by 12.58 points.
The trading began at 2,590 points, and after some fluctuations, it climbed to 2,601 points.
On Sunday, the share prices of 171 companies rose, while 68 companies saw a decline, and the prices of 4 companies remained unchanged.
The total trading volume for the day was NPR 6.25 billion.
Nepal Bottlers Limited's share price hit a positive circuit, while the share price of Wean Nepal Laghubitta rose by 9%.
The finance and production sectors contributed significantly to the market’s growth, with share prices in these two groups increasing by 2.32 and 2.57 points, respectively.
