Four-party Socialist Front holds meeting after six months

Kathmandu, January 15 — The four-party opposition Socialist Front has convened a meeting today after six months.

The meeting is being held at the central office of the CPN (Unified Socialist) in Aloknagar.

According to task force member Ganganarayan Shrestha, the meeting will focus on reviewing past events, discussing the latest political developments, and planning future strategies.

The report prepared by the task force will be presented during the meeting. The Front is preparing to take a stronger stance against the Oli government, strengthening leftist unity and polarization moving forward.

The first meeting of the front was held on July 16, after the fall of the Prachanda-led government on July 12.

While task force meetings were held during the interval, the main party, CPN (Maoist Center), had been occupied with internal matters, affecting the frequency of the meetings.
