Nepse index drops by 15.54 points

Kathmandu, January 13 — On Monday, the Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index dropped by 15.54 points, reaching 2594 points from an opening of 2610.

The market saw a decline of 0.59 percent.

A total of 175 companies experienced a fall in their stock prices on Monday, with two companies—Atmanirbhar Laghubitta and Sindhu Development Bank—seeing negative circuits.

On the other hand, 63 companies saw an increase in their prices, and Barahi Hydropower hit a positive circuit.

The total transaction volume for the day amounted to NPR 6.65 billion.

The highest trading volume was recorded by NRN Infrastructure, with a total turnover of NPR 452.5 million.

The index saw a decline in all subgroups of Nepse on Monday.
