TSC announces applications for 367 Secondary Level teacher posts
Kathmandu, January 12 — The Teacher Service Commission has called for applications for the position of Secondary Level Teacher.
According to the Commission's decision on January 10, the applications are being sought for the permanent appointment of teachers at the secondary level in community schools through an open and inclusive competitive examination.
The Commission has advertised 367 positions. Last year, an advertisement was issued for 436 positions, meaning there are 69 fewer positions being advertised this year.
For the Nepali subject, applications are being sought for 51 candidates across all seven provinces.
Additionally, applications are being sought for 84 positions in English, 75 in Mathematics, 84 in Science, 52 in Social Studies, 3 in Economics, 2 in Shukla Yajurveda, 10 in Accounting, 2 in Sanskrit Grammar, 1 in Sanskrit Language, 1 in Teaching Education, 1 in Health and Physical Education, and 1 in Predictive Astrology.
Interested candidates who meet the minimum qualifications can start applying online from January 12, as per the Commission's announcement.
Candidates will need to fill out their application details through the Commission’s online application system at https://online.tsc.gov.np. The detailed advertisement can be downloaded or viewed on the Commission’s website.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old but not older than 40 years. However, there is no age limit for serving permanent teachers.
Those who have received permanent teaching license at the secondary level can apply. Candidates with social studies teaching license can also apply for exams in Economics and Health and Physical Education.
For Sanskrit-related subjects, those with permanent teaching license in Nepali can also apply, according to the Commission.
