Partial cloudy weather across Nepal, foggy conditions in western Terai
Kathmandu, January 8 — A partial impact of the western low-pressure system is currently being observed in the country.
As a result, the weather in the hilly regions of Nepal is partly to mostly cloudy, while the remaining areas are experiencing clear skies.
Some parts of the western Terai region are experiencing fog and mist.
According to the Meteorological Forecast Department, on Wednesday, the weather in the hilly regions of the Koshi province will remain partly cloudy, with clear skies in the rest of the province.
There is a possibility of light snowfall in one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi province.
The Department has advised the public to remain cautious, as this may affect daily life, health, transportation, and air travel.
On Thursday, the weather in the hilly regions of Koshi province will again be partly cloudy, with clear skies in the rest of the province.
The possibility of light snowfall remains in one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous regions.
Residents are advised to stay alert and prepare accordingly, especially when traveling in areas where snowfall is likely.
