Victims of Surydarshan Cooperative protest on road in front of Kaski District Court
Pokhara, January 5 — Victims of Surydarshan Cooperative have staged a protest by lying down on the road in front of the District Court in Pokhara.
They are protesting against the supporters of Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane, claiming that the court was overcrowded with RSP members, preventing the victims from entering.
Kiran Shrestha, the coordinator of the Victims' Struggle Committee, stated, "RSP leaders and workers have filled the court, and the victims were not allowed entry. After this obstruction, the police intervened, and we sat on the road."
Following the victims' protest on the road, the police removed RSP leaders and workers from the court premises as well.
