My government was toppled overnight after anti-corruption campaign: Prachanda
Kathmandu, December 30 — Former Prime Minister and Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Centre) Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' claimed that the government was toppled overnight after his governance campaign, which he had initiated during his third term as Prime Minister, reached the headquarters of Congress and UML.
Speaking at an awareness rally held in Gaurigunj, Jhapa, the home district of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, on Monday, Prachanda appealed for unity against corruption, brokers, and middlemen.
"You all know that after my government's anti-corruption campaign targeting corrupt officials, brokers, and middlemen, it was swiftly undermined once it reached the headquarters of Congress and UML," he said. "I appeal to all to unite against the corrupt, middlemen, and brokers."
