Taudaha comes alive with birds as winter sets in (photos)

Kathmandu, December 20 — During the winter season, with the sunrise, the hustle and bustle of birds begins at Taudaha.

The sight of visiting birds, both local and those who have migrated from different parts of the world, roaming freely is quite enchanting.

As the first rays of the morning sun touch Taudaha, the red glow makes the water surface look mesmerizing.

Here, both visiting and guest birds continue to come and go. These birds, which come and go depending on seasonal conditions, have recently added a unique charm to Taudaha.

Especially during the winter season, various indigenous and foreign birds arrive at this lake in Kirtipur and engage in free-spirited water activities.
