Nepal Police urges public to avoid clicking suspicious social media posts

Kathmandu, December 19 — The Nepal Police has urged the public not to click on suspicious posts seen on social media.

The police issued this warning after several posts, which misuse logos and details of organizations like Nepal Telecom and others, offering various enticing but suspicious offers, were reported.

The police further stated that there has been an increase in complaints from individuals who have encountered these types of posts.

In response, the police headquarters has requested the public not to fall for false enticements without verifying the authenticity from official sources.
