Tribhuvan University calls Policy Session

Kathmandu, December 5 — Tribhuvan University has announced the convening of its Policy Session on 12th of December. This decision comes after a lack of discussion on policy matters during the Senate meeting held on 30th of July.

According to Tribhuvan University spokesperson Yaman Bahadur Bohara, discussions will be held on the university's current policies, along with various agenda items related to rules and regulations. The university is preparing to amend several provisions of the law, and these changes will be finalized during the session.

The Policy Session, also known as the Winter Session, is expected to pass significant resolutions. Tribhuvan University has already initiated discussions with concerned stakeholders regarding the upcoming session.

Shyam Raj Ojha, the president of Tribhuvan University's Student Union, mentioned that he has been preparing for the session and has sought suggestions from student unions across the country.

Tribhuvan University follows a system where two sessions, Summer and Winter, are held annually. Accordingly, the Winter Policy Session has been scheduled.
