Fire destroys property worth Rs 1.2 million

Taplejung – Property worth Rs 1.2 million was gutted when a fire sparked from the wildfire completely destroyed a house at Phurumbu of Phungling Municipality-10 in Taplejung. 

A house of a local Chandra Bahadur Karki was gutted after the fire set to a nearby cliff send sparks onto the house. The incident happened on Tuesday afternoon. The fire caused no human casualty, however, said his neighbour Man Kumari Karki. 
The individual responsible for forest fire has agreed to bear the loss caused by it. 
In the past three months, dozens of houses were destroyed in fire-related incidents in the district.---
