UML rally kicks off for 'awakening assembly' (photos)
Kathmandu, November 22 — A rally has started for the CPN (UML)’s awakening assembly scheduled at Durbar Marg today.
The rally, which will begin shortly from Bhadrakali, is set to reach Durbar Marg, where it will turn into an assembly.
The UML is preparing to gather around one lakh people from Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, and nearby districts for the event.
The awakening assembly is being organized by the CPN (UML) district committees of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Lalitpur at Durbar Marg today.
Leaders including UML Chairman and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli are expected to address the gathering.
Rajendra Gautam, head of the UML’s publicity department, stated that the event is being organized with the objective of fostering national harmony and unity.
