Partial influence of westerlies and local winds across the country

Kathmandu, November 12 — The Meteorological Forecasting Division has reported that there is partial influence of western winds and local winds across the country. As a result, there is partial cloud cover in the hilly regions, while the rest of the country is experiencing mostly clear weather.

This afternoon, the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces will have partial cloud cover, while the remaining regions will experience mostly clear weather with some occasional cloud cover.

There is a possibility of light rain in one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, as well as light snowfall in a few places in the high hilly and mountainous regions.

Tonight, the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces are expected to have partial cloud cover, with the rest of the country experiencing mostly clear weather. There is a possibility of light rain in one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces, along with light snowfall in the high and mountainous regions.

The Meteorological Forecasting Division has advised caution in sectors such as agriculture, health, tourism, mountaineering, road transport, and air travel due to the possibility of light rain and snowfall, which may have a partial impact on these activities.
