Western and local winds bring mixed weather across Nepal

Kathmandu, November 3 — According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there is a partial influence of westerly winds and local winds, as well as a low-pressure system located near Assam in Bangladesh and India, across the country. On Sunday, there will be partial to generally cloudy conditions in the hilly regions, while the remaining areas will experience partial cloudiness with mostly clear weather.

In the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, there is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning in a few locations. Additionally, light snowfall is expected in some places in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, as well as in one or two places in other high hilly and mountainous areas.

On Monday, partial to generally cloudy conditions are expected in the hilly regions of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, while the rest of the areas will see mostly clear weather with some partial cloudiness. There is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning in a few locations in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, as well as in one or two places in other hilly and Terai regions. Light snowfall may also occur in some areas of the high hilly and mountainous regions across the country.
