Three films release for Fulpati: Chhakka Panja 5, 12 Gaun, and Jwai Saab

Kathmandu, October 10 — On the occasion of Fulpati, three Nepali films have been released starting Thursday: “Chhakka Panja 5,” “12 Gaun,” and “Jwai Saab.”

The competition among these films will undoubtedly affect all of them, as splitting the audience isn’t commercially favorable. However, all three films have generated positive buzz in the market, with producers and directors expressing confidence in their box office potential.

Chhakka Panja 5

Continuing the popular "Chhakka Panja" series, Deepak Raj Giri and Deepashree Niraula's team has created “Chhakka Panja 5.” Previous installments have set box office records, and there are high expectations for this one as well.

Directed by Deepashree Niraula, the film features performances by Deepak Raj Giri, Kedar Ghimire, Barsha Siwakoti, and Mexam Gaudel. The executive producers are Nirmal Sharma and Kedar Ghimire, also known as “Magne Buda.”

12 Gaun

The film “12 Gaun” is directed by action star Biraj Bhatta, who once reigned in the Nepali film industry.

Alongside Biraj Bhatta, the film features performances by his son Samir and Nyasi Khadka. The trailer showcases a story of a battle against a tyrannical ruler in an ancient village named "12 Gaun." The cast also includes Sanisha Bhattarai, Murali Dhar, Kanij Koirala, Naren Khadka, and Diya Maskey.

Jwai Saab

“Jwai Saab” stars Jitu Nepal, who has left the Deepak-Deepa team. The production team is confident that the film will win the audience’s heart.

The trailer depicts the story of a mid-age character named Gobardhan Pandit, who has been unable to get married and is on a quest to find a suitable bride through competition.

In addition to Jitu, the film features actors Niti Shah, Buddhi Tamang, and Shivu Pandey. Directed by Basanta Niraula, the film is a presentation of Red Eye Films in collaboration with Mausam Films, with Rajkumar Pandit as the producer.
