Daunne: One-way traffic resumes after landslide; repairs underway for two-way flow

Nawalparasi, October 5 — Traffic has resumed in one direction on the road that was blocked due to a landslide in Daunne, Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta West). The road was obstructed after a landslide occurred at Khurasanikhola in Bardaghat Municipality-4.

According to Resham Bohara, Deputy Superintendent of Police and Information Officer at the District Police Office, the road was reopened for one-way traffic at 9:30 AM after repairs were made.

He mentioned that efforts are underway to restore two-way traffic today. However, Chief District Officer Scheme Shrestha stated that due to ongoing landslides, there are issues with immediately resuming two-way traffic.
