Cabinet meeting scheduled for Friday at 5 PM
Kathmandu, October 4 — A cabinet meeting has been convened for Friday at 5 PM, according to one minister. The minister mentioned that the agenda may include decisions regarding the construction of temporary shelters for those affected by floods and landslides.
"This is a regular meeting. Since yesterday was a public holiday, the meeting is being held today," the minister said. "The agenda has not been disclosed, but discussions and decisions regarding temporary housing for flood victims may take place."
Although the government has stated that it will arrange temporary housing for those displaced by the floods, it is reported that a proposal on this matter has not yet been decided by the cabinet.
