ANNFSU (R) age limit fiasco: CPN (Maoist Center) office-bearers meeting underway to settle dispute

Kathmandu, October 2 — The office bearer's meeting of the CPN (Maoist Centre) is currently underway in Khumaltar. The meeting is convened to make necessary decisions regarding the National Conference of the All Nepal National Free Students Union-Revolutionary (ANNFSU-R).

Leaders currently available inside the Kathmandu Valley are participating in the meeting. Due to disputes over age limits, the National Conference of the All Nepal National Free Students' Union-Revolutionary (ANFSU-R) has been postponed, prompting the party to make necessary decisions to find a way out.

Although the 23rd National Conference is scheduled from September 26 to 30, disputes regarding the implementation of age limits have arisen before the proposed draft constitution could be approved, preventing the leadership selection process from moving forward.
