Kathmandu gradually returning to normalcy after floods (photos)

Kathmandu, September 29 — After three days of incessant rain, the Kathmandu Valley was hit by flooding on Saturday. More than three dozen lives were lost due to floods and landslides in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Lalitpur. Hundreds were rescued.

The flooding caused millions in damages to personal homes and public spaces.

However, starting from Sunday, the Kathmandu Valley has begun to slowly return to normalcy.
