Prachanda calls for all-party meeting

Kathmandu, September 29 — Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', chairman of the CPN (Maoist Centre) and leader of the main opposition party in the House of Representatives, has called for an all-party meeting.

Prachanda has summoned the meeting to discuss the ongoing heavy rainfall, floods, landslides, and the resulting conditions. The meeting is scheduled to take place at 10 AM at the parliamentary party office of the CPN (Maoist Centre) in Singhadurbar.

Acting Prime Minister Prakashman Singh has also called for an all-party meeting, set for 1 PM at the Prime Minister's office in Singhadurbar.

This meeting will address issues related to the floods, landslides, disaster response, damage to property and life, and relief efforts.
