Landslide in Dolakha claims three lives from one family

Kathmandu, September 28 — A landslide in Simpani, Ward No. 6 of Bhimeshwar Municipality in Dolakha, has resulted in the deaths of three family members. A team led by Inspector Shatrughan Kumar Mahto rescued a 3-year-old boy alive from the house of local resident Rajkumar Bhujel.

The rescued child, Yuvraj Bhujel, was taken to the branch of Dhulikhel Hospital in Bhimeshwar for treatment. After receiving care, the hospital has since discharged him.

The landslide caused the deaths of 40-year-old Rajkumar Bhujel, his 36-year-old wife Radhika Bhujel, and their 15-year-old son Sujan Bhujel. Yuvraj, the child who was rescued, is the son of Rajkumar.
