Three bodies of ANFA students recovered from landslide in Sisneri
Makawanpur, September 28 — Three bodies have been recovered among six students from the ANFA Academy who were feared buried in a landslide at Batsaladevi Secondary School in Sisneri, Indrasarowar Rural Municipality-3. The academy coordinator, Subashchandra Thakuri, stated that their identification is still pending.
The students went missing while trying to reach a safe location as the water level in the Sisneri River rose after the reservoir gates of the Kulekhani Hydropower Project were opened.
Meanwhile, 30 houses in the Sisneri market area have been swept away by the flood, and 28 houses in Khanikhet of Indrasarowar-2 are currently inundated.
