Landslides block Prithvi Highway: Traffic disrupted

Kathmandu, September 28 — Landslides in the Mauwa River and Dangi River in Ichhakamana Rural Municipality Ward No. 3, Chitwan, have blocked the Prithvi Highway.

Inspector Gayatriraj Sharma from the District Traffic Police Office in Chitwan informed Ratopati that traffic in both directions has been disrupted due to the landslides.

He mentioned that efforts are underway to clear the debris. It is estimated that it will take at least three hours to reopen the road.
