ANNFSU (R) kicks off National Conference (photos)

Kathmandu, September 26 — The 23rd National Conference of the student organization affiliated with the Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Centre), All Nepal National Free Students' Union-Revolutionary (ANNFSU-R), has begun today (Thursday) in Kathmandu.

Former Prime Minister and Chairman of the Maoist Centre, Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ inaugurated the conference.

The conference will focus on educational issues and will last for four days, during which new leadership will be elected.

According to ANNFSU-R, 2,323 representatives are participating in the national conference, which started at the Tribhuvan University Memorial Building. ANNFSU-R will select a new central committee consisting of 243 members, including office bearers.
