23 injured in Nawalpur bus accident

Nawalparasi, September 24 — A passenger bus accident occurred in Binayi Tribeni, Nawalpur, along the East-West Highway, resulting in 23 injuries. The bus, traveling from Kathmandu to Rajasthan, India, crashed near Binayi Khola in Binayi Tribeni-1.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Bed Bahadur Paudel from the District Police Office, the RJ 14 PC 3545 number bus lost control and overturned on the road this morning. Twenty-three passengers were injured in the incident.

Around 45 passengers were on board, and the other passengers are reported to be safe, Paudel stated.

The injured individuals are receiving treatment at the local Binayi Tribeni Hospital.
