PHC approves ambassadors for 16 countries

Kathmandu, September 19 — The Parliamentary Hearing Committee has approved the names of Nepali ambassadors for 16 countries.
During a meeting held at Singha Durbar on Thursday, Chairperson Ishwari Neupane informed that the committee approved the names for 16 out of 17 ambassadors recommended by the government.
However, the name of the proposed ambassador for Sri Lanka was not approved due to questions raised regarding educational qualifications.
The matter concerning proposed ambassador Ramkrishna Bhattrai for Sri Lanka will be discussed in the next meeting.
