Tractor accident in Sankhuwasabha claims two lives

Khandbari, September 18 — A tractor accident today at Samatar of Makalu Rural Municipality-3 in Sankhuwasabha resulted in the deaths of two individuals.
The tractor fell from a cliff, while traveling from Barun to Khandbari on the Khandbari-Kimathangka road, leading to the immediate deaths of both passengers at the scene.
According to Inspector Ramkumar Lamichhane from the District Police Office, the deceased are the driver, Kiran Shrestha, from Khandbari Municipality-8, and the helper, Udit Shrestha of the same place.
The tractor fell approximately 300 meters down into the Arun River.
The police stated that the number plate of the tractor has not been recovered due to the river's current.
