Earthquake jolts Bajhang

Kathmandu, September 18 — An earthquake has struck Bajhang.

According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center in Lainchaur, a magnitude 4.3 earthquake occurred at 10:08 AM today, centered around Majhigaun in Bajhang.

Previously, an earthquake was recorded near Lhonaak in Taplejung on September 15.

The center has indicated that seismic activity continues to be a concern in Nepal.

 Due to its location in the Himalayan region, Nepal is considered to be at significant earthquake risk.
