Gold price sets new all-time high

Kathmandu, September 13 — The price of gold set a new record in the Nepali market on Friday.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of hallmark gold increased by 3,000 rupees per tola compared to the previous day, reaching 156,300 rupees per tola.

The association informed that this is the highest price ever recorded. On Thursday, the price of gold was 153,300 rupees per tola. Recently, the price of gold has been consistently rising.

Meanwhile, the price of silver also increased to 1,860 rupees per tola on Friday, up from 1,795 rupees per tola the previous day, marking a rise of 55 rupees per tola.
