A330 aircraft back in Kathmandu after C-check

Kathmandu, September 12 — Nepal Airlines' widebody aircraft, which went to Italy for a C-check (technical inspection), has returned to Kathmandu today after two and a half months.

The A330 aircraft, registration 9N-ALY, traveled to Italy on June 22 for its technical checks and is now back in Kathmandu.

The airline's other widebody aircraft is still in Italy undergoing its C-check.

Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) spokesperson Ramesh Paudel informed that this aircraft is expected to return to Kathmandu in about a month.

In addition to the widebody aircraft, two narrowbody aircraft from Nepal Airlines are currently ready for flight.

NAC has a total of four aircraft for international routes.

With the return of the widebody aircraft, the airline plans to resume flights to Japan.

Services to Japan had been suspended following the departure of the two widebody aircraft for their C-checks.
