Gold price reaches new high
Kathmandu, September 11 — Gold prices reached a new high in the Nepalese market on Wednesday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders, the price of hallmark gold was set at NPR 153,400 per tola.
On Tuesday, the price of gold was NPR 152,400 per tola, marking a rise of NPR 1,000 on Wednesday.
Similarly, hallmark gold remained at NPR 131,515 per 10 grams on Tuesday.
Silver prices also saw an increase on Wednesday. The price of silver was NPR 1,765 per tola on Tuesday, rising to NPR 1,780 on Wednesday.
The continuous increase in international gold prices is affecting the local market as well.
