Cooperative Inquiry Committee holds discussion with Finance Minister and Governor

Kathmandu, September 8 — The meeting of Parliamentary Investigation Special Committee on Misuse of Co-operatives Saving, which was formed to probe the embezzlement of cooperative savings funds, is currently underway.

Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel attended the discussion on Sunday at Singha Durbar.

Additionally, Nepal Rastra Bank Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari and Planning Commission Vice Chairman Professor Dr. Shivraj Adhikari are also participating in the discussion.

Previously, the committee held discussions with the accused, victims, cooperative experts, the Home Minister, the IGP of Nepal Police, and other stakeholders in the misuse of cooperative funds.
