Nawazuddin Siddiqui welcomed by fans upon arrival in Nepal (Photos)
Kathmandu, September 7 — Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui arrived in Kathmandu on Saturday afternoon to attend the premiere of the film "Shambala."
Upon landing at Tribhuvan International Airport, Siddiqui was greeted by enthusiastic Nepali fans. He interacted with them by taking selfies and giving autographs.
The Nepal premiere of "Shambala," directed by Meen Bahadur Bham, is scheduled for September 8 in Kathmandu.
The film's team shared that director Bham and Siddiqui first met at the Berlin Film Festival, where Siddiqui expressed his interest in watching the film.
"Shambala" has the distinction of being the first Nepali film selected for the main competition at the Berlin Film Festival.
Additionally, the film's lead actress, Thinley Lhamo, recently won the 'Boccalino Dior' award for Best Performance at the Locarno Film Festival. The film is set to be released in Nepal on September 13.
