Kathmandu, September 6 — The Haritalika Teej festival, celebrated on Bhadra Shukla Tritiya, is being observed today by Hindu women by worshiping Lord Mahadev.
On this special day, devotees are enjoying themselves by dancing and singing at the Pashupatinath Temple, taking part in traditional Teej celebrations without breaking their fast.
The atmosphere at the temple premises is lively, with various Teej songs being sung.
All four gates of the Pashupatinath Temple have been open since 3 am.
The Pashupati Area Development Trust stated that despite a long queue to visit the temple, the flow of visitors has been smooth due to the early opening of all gates.
