Flood in Baglung claims two lives, one missing

Baglung, September 6 — Two people have died and one is missing following a flood in Bandre of Baglung Municipality-4 last night.
A motorcycle with the number Dha 2 Pa 8010 and a scooter with the number Dha 1 Pa 9996, both traveling from Kundule to Malika, were swept away by the flood.
According to Police Inspector Pratap Poudel from the District Police Office Baglung, the victims are 23-year-old Arjun Sapkota and 22-year-old Abhisek Regmi, both from Adhaithar, Bandre in Baglung-4.
Poudel also informed that 20-year-old Kamal Sapkota from the same area is missing.
The bodies of Sapkota and Regmi were recovered approximately 200 meters downstream. They have been sent to Dhaulagiri Hospital in Baglung for autopsy.
The search for the missing Kamal Sapkota is ongoing, but efforts are being hampered by continued rain.
