Stock Market decline: NEPSE index down to 2782.60 points

Kathmandu, August 27 — The NEPSE stock market index dropped by 111.96 points on Tuesday.

The decline began at the market opening and continued throughout the day, resulting in a 3.86% decrease, bringing the index down to 2782.60 points.

According to the Nepal Stock Exchange, the share prices of 223 companies fell, while 20 companies saw their prices rise, and one company's price remained unchanged.

A total of 4,38,68,000 shares were traded, with a total value of 18,64,95,33,000 rupees.
