Police raid Association of Music Industries' office

Kathmandu, August 21 - The police have seized documents from the Association of Music Industries, Nepal’s office in Anamnagar.

 Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Om Rana of the Human Trafficking Bureau stated that the documents were collected as part of an ongoing investigation.

Rana said, "A team was dispatched to the office to gather documents for the investigation."

The bureau has confiscated records from working committee meetings, letterheads, and a computer. This action follows reports that officials from the Association of Music Industries, Nepal may be involved in sending individuals abroad using fraudulent documents.

The bureau has launched an investigation into these allegations.
