Jyoti Magar blasts morality police over 'Bihe Bhako Chhaina'!" song

Kathmandu, August 16 – Singer Jyoti Magar has criticized the newly released song "Bihe Bhako Chhaina," which translates to "I Am Not Married," from the film Chhakka Panja 5.

In a Facebook post, she expressed her frustration that individuals who frequently advocate for traditional values in their music have not addressed this particular song.

Magar questioned, "How can those who often decry societal moral decline react to the song 'Bihe Bhako Chhaina, Kumari Pani Hain Ma'—roughly meaning 'I am neither married nor a virgin'—from Chhakka Panja 5? Do they not grasp the song's meaning? Just because the song addresses marriage does not make it inappropriate."

The song, performed by Sabin Subedi and Benisha Poudel, features a traditional folk style and will be part of the film, which is scheduled to premiere on Fulpati.

The lyrics were penned by Deepak Raj Giri and Deepak Sharma, with music composed by Deepak Sharma.

The music video, choreographed by Sunil Chhetri, stars Deepak Raj Giri and Barsha Siwakoti, the film's lead actors.
