Cabinet expansion row: Janamat asks for an explanation from Madhesh CM Singh

Birganj, August 9: The Janamat Party has demanded an explanation from Madhesh Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh, accusing him of acting against party directives.

Janamat Party spokesperson Sharad Singh Yadav confirmed that the request for clarification was made on Friday. According to Yadav, the Chief Minister has been working without coordination with the party since assuming office two months ago.

Spokesperson Yadav noted that this is the first time an explanation has been sought from the Chief Minister following the allocation of ministries and cabinet expansion.

Yadav said, "There was a lack of coordination with the party during the cabinet expansion. The party's reputation is at stake due to actions contrary to its instructions, which is why an explanation has been requested."

The Janamat Party also criticized Chief Minister Singh for focusing more on formal events rather than addressing public concerns.

In response, Chief Minister Singh described the request for clarification as a normal procedure, saying, "This is part of the party’s regular process. There may have been some errors, and the party has pointed them out for correction. It’s nothing more than that."
