CoAS Sharma hands over responsibilities to Acting CoAS Sigdel

Kathmandu, August 8: The Chief of Army staff (CoAS) Prabhuram Sharma will go on customary leave starting Friday, taking a month off before the end of his three-year term, which concludes on 9th September.

According to an army officer, handing over was taking place at Army Headquarters as this news was being reported..

The Council of Ministers decided to appoint Lieutenant General Sigdel as the new Commander-in-Chief on 29th July.
