Report on Transitional Justice Bill submitted to top leaders
Kathmandu, August 7: Report on the Transitional Justice Bill has been submitted to the top leaders today.
Members of the Facilitation Mechanism presented the written report to the UML Chairman and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, and Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda.
Mahesh Bartaula, a working group member of the mechanism, stated that after reviewing the report and providing necessary feedback, the leaders will move forward to the endorsement of the bill during the current parliamentary session.
The mechanism includes UML’s Bartaula, Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, and Maoist Center's Janardan Sharma.
