Grade 12 results announced, 52.91 pc candidates passed
Kathmandu The National Examination Board has announced the Class 12 results.
According to the announced results, 52.91 percent of students have passed (graded) in the regular category.
Likewise, 47.09 percent of students are non-graded (NG) or failed.
Of the 390,868 students who took the examination under regular category, 203,847 have passed. Additionally, 28.26 percent of students from the 2021/22 academic year and 62.05 percent from the 2020/21 academic year have passed under the grade increment system.
Class 12 exams were conducted from April 26 to May 6.
The board organized the exams for students from 5,542 schools across 1,526 examination centers, including one in Japan.
This year, for the first time, the board used an automatic selection system to determine examination centers.
This pilot project, developed by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and the board's technical team, used a random method to select examination centers in the Kathmandu district.
The exams were conducted according to the Letter Grading Guidelines, 2021, and the results are published based on these guidelines.
The NEB has indicated that students must score at least 35 percent in theory to pass.
