MP Dhakal lambasts Bishwo Prakash, calls out the hypocrisy

Kathmandu: Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) MP Hari Dhakal has called on Nepali Congress General Secretary Bishwaprakash Sharma to address the recent transfer of DIG Manoj KC in Parliament. Dhakal urged Sharma to explain the transfer, highlighting that Sharma had previously questioned similar actions by the former government.

During an emergency session of Parliament, Dhakal criticized the timing and rationale behind DIG KC's transfer, which occurred shortly after the government secured a vote of confidence. "DIG Manoj KC, a highly respected police officer, was transferred within two days of the government’s vote of confidence. What is the purpose behind this transfer?" Dhakal questioned.

Dhakal also referenced a June 24 Facebook post by Sharma, which criticized the transfer of police inspectors. He challenged Sharma to address the issue of DIG KC’s transfer in Parliament, questioning whether Sharma would take this opportunity to speak on the matter.

Dhakal further remarked that the formation of the new coalition government was guided by specific objectives, and the series of actions taken thus far—such as cabinet appointments and provincial minister selections—were beginning to reflect these objectives. He criticized the appointments of individuals with criminal backgrounds to ministerial positions and questioned the motivations behind the transfer of DIG KC as part of this pattern.
